The thriller follows the tale of a kind and loving family whose lives are endangered when they are stalked by deadly versions of themselves and, thanks to impeccable performances by its cast (also made up of Elisabeth Ross, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Anna Diop) has now earned $220 million globally.
Its success follows the critical and commercial glory Lupita earned via ’12 Years’, ‘Queen of Katwe’, ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’

I did not like the movie at all. Too many plot holes. I loved ‘Get Out’ though. This movie Us seemed very rushed and thrown together. Many plot holes I could NOT ignore. I’ll just list a couple because I do not want to spoil the movie for those who have not seen it:
1. The movie takes place in Santa Cruz, CA. Well, over 90 percent of the homes in CA do not have basements so it is impossible dopplegangers live below you.
2. Where did all those red outfits come from?
